Build Resilient Athletes. Support Better Sport Experiences.
The Resilient Athlete is an education program designed to build healthier perspectives, stronger relationships, and better sport environments.
Through live presentations, online learning, parent education, coach education, private community spaces, and Habit Builder tools, the program helps teams develop the skills that shape both wellness and performance.
Athletes Need More Than Skill Development
Young athletes are often expected to manage pressure, mistakes, feedback, competition, emotions, relationships, and expectations before they have been taught how.
The Resilient Athlete creates a shared language for everyone involved in the athlete experience. Athletes learn how to take ownership of their mindset, attitude, focus, and discipline. Parents learn how to support without adding pressure. Coaches learn how to create environments built on trust, communication, accountability, and empathy.

Supporting the Whole Athlete Environment
A healthy sport experience is shaped by everyone around the athlete. The program educates athletes, parents and coaches so the message is aligned, practical and consistent.
Athletes
Build resilience, improve focus, develop discipline, manage attitude, communicate effectively, and take accountability for growth.
Parents
Understand how expectations, stress, communication, and support directly influence the athlete experience.

Meet the Team Behind The Resilient Athlete
The Resilient Athlete is delivered by a team that understands the athlete experience from multiple angles: professional sport, coaching, mental health, social work, player development, and lived experience.
Bob Wilkie
Bob is the founder of I Got Mind and a former professional hockey player whose own journey through pressure, trauma, expectations, and healing shaped the mission of the organization. He brings lived experience, coaching insight, and a passion for educating athletes, parents, and coaches about wellness, culture, and performance.
Cory Clouston
Cory brings decades of coaching experience from junior, professional, and international hockey. His background includes coaching in the NHL, AHL, WHL, and Hockey Canada’s national team program. He helps athletes and coaches understand discipline, standards, accountability, leadership, and team culture.
Dino Kambeitz
Dino brings the current-player perspective to the program. His experience through elite development, junior hockey, and professional hockey allows him to connect with athletes about pressure, resilience, preparation, identity, accountability, and what it takes to keep growing through challenge.
Sarah Weninger
Sarah brings a strong athlete-development and social-work lens to the program. As a former women’s hockey athlete and I Got Mind facilitator, she helps athletes and parents explore confidence, expectations, communication, identity, and the emotional experience that can come with competitive sport.
Shawn O’Grady
Shawn brings clinical knowledge and facilitation experience to the program. His work helps athletes, parents, and coaches better understand stress, emotional wellness, communication, and the skills required to create safer, healthier, and more supportive sport environments.
