Stress overload makes us stupid. Solid research proves it. When we get overstressed, it creates a nasty chemical soup in our brains that makes it hard to pull out of the anxious depressive spiral. - Gail Sheehy

We are excited to have you here for this course. It is an informative discussion that will help you understand the role of stress.

According to the World Health Organization, mental wellness is defined as “a state of well-being in which the individual realizes his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to his or her community.”

Becoming educated on stress will benefit your mental wellness in ways you never imagined.

The common response to stress is anxiety, uncontrolled emotions, negative habit formation, and damaging communication.

We will help you improve your mental wellness through an in-depth understanding of stress along with new skills to manage it.
