Stress is a major contributor to issues we all can experience. The world is a stressful place, and life is moving at an extreme pace, with technology taking us to places we are not prepared for.
Being “ON” 24/7 is not how our minds and bodies are designed. However, society has developed this expectation, putting all humans in a precarious situation.
We see unhealthy or toxic stress being presented in humans as early as 8 years old. For as evolved as we are as a species with so many advances to make life easier and more enjoyable, we have never been more sick. It is due to our ignorance of how to operate in the challenges of today.
Developing these social and emotional skills is essential to our survival. Our ill health is taking a massive toll, and we must become accountable for our own well-being. This course will provide all participants with the opportunity to learn and grow. Stress management is a skill that requires awareness and practice daily. To be healthy, we must have the skills that allow us that opportunity.
