"Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today."
Personal Assessment
We start the process with a personal assessment. This is a 1 hour exercise. It is performed by Leadership Management International.
The reason we do this is allow us to see each participants tendencies. Why they succeed in certain situations and why they fail in others. It is a powerful coaching tool that allows the athlete to become aware of where to improve and prepare.
Lesson 1 - Defining Your Role
Each season brings a new challenge of determining where the player fits into the team dynamic. Being able to embrace the new role is critical to personal confidence.
We walk through current and past experiences to lead the athlete to the understanding of how to adapt. Why it is so important to be able to be open to new opportunities, regardless of what they were used to or have done in the past.
Lesson 2 - Habits
Session 2 is all about identifying the athletes habits. All of them. Once they have seen what the do, we can now make decisions on what to CHANGE.
Change is a huge undertaking, it involves fear, frustration and the unknown. But change is constant and we teach the 4 levels of learning. Once they become familiar with the process they can then change at will. The ability to change is a big asset to possess for anyone.
Lesson 3 - Attitude
Attitude is the cause of all results. A powerful session where we introduce how the MIND works and how the athlete can start to use this positively.
Body language, thoughts, feelings are all within our control, the athlete will learn how to use these powerful tools that they possess for a more positive result.
Lesson 4 - Who Are You?
Athletes struggle throughout there career mainly because there is no sense of self. They want to PLEASE everyone, and forget about pleasing themselves.
In the Athletic World many athletes endure pain, both physical and mental. They can eliminate a lot of the mental pain by knowing who they are and what they stand for. Identifying the characteristics they possess, the strengths and weaknesses is very important. We create a self image and start to create belief they have never had.
Lesson 5 - A Goal is the Goal
An Athlete without goals, specific and measurable is like a Indy race car with no track. If you don’t know where you are going, any road will get you there.
We teach the Athletes to create SMART goals in all areas of there life. It creates purpose, drive and focus. We go through a goal planning exercise to create a process that allows them to achieve their desires.
Lesson 6 - Imagination
Visualization for an Athlete is a large part of preparation. Unfortunately by the age of 14 Athletes begin to use their imagination to create worst case scenarios rather than best case.
We introduce meditation and the power of visualization. We help them get into a creative mindset which allows them to visualize successful outcomes. Einstein said it best, “Imagination is the preview of life’s coming attractions.” What you think about, comes about.
Lesson 7 - Communication
What to say, when to say it, who to say it to and why do you need to say it are all valuable questions to answer.
In this lesson we teach the Athletes the power of communication, with themselves and with others. Thinking before speaking is a great skill to possess. It improves results when working with teammates and coaches. And everywhere else in their life.
Lesson 8 - Focus
In the final lesson we introduce the power of Focus. It is what allows us to accomplish and stay on task. The ability to focus on specific tasks for as long as required is a challenge for everyone.
Here we show them why it is important and share some best practices on how to achieve the proper levels of focus.
Here is what past clients say about Success Strategies.
Expectations Exceeded
We wanted to solve some issues we were seeing with our son's performance. Well this program has changed him, he has more confidence, he is more focused on his goals, and our house is so much more calm now.
Thanks Bob, we are so thankful.
Thank you so much.
No more pain, no more Drama, better sense of who I am and where I am going. All that I have achieved this year is because of my mental state. I reached my goals and now have new opportunities to take advantage of. I could not have done any of it without Success Strategies.
Best Money Spent EVER!
All the camps and skill development we spent money on was not changing our son's performance. We were all frustrated and confused. The investment in the Mental Training program Success Strategies is worth more than anything else we have tried. Our son is achieving things he never had before. To go from feeling helpless to over the moon happy was the best investment we have ever made. We will be telling everybody!
Thanks Bob!
How it works.
1.We have an intial conversation to determine the needs.
A one hour conversation to assess whether this program is the right fit. After the conversation you walk away with all the information you need. then you discuss as a family and make the decision together.
2.We Assess
The Athlete will receive a Welcome package of the workbooks and posters. We also send out the link for them to do the assessment. All of the instructions of how to begin are included.

3.Schdule the Calls and Deadlines
The expectation is that the Athlete goes through the time management workbook and schedules times to read, to watch and to have the 1-1 calls. It creates accountability and responsibility. Two weeks is the time allotted to complete each lesson and have the online 1-1 coaching calls.
4.Rinse and Repeat
A routine of learning is created. The program takes 16 weeks to complete. We developed the program so that each lesson is given the correct amount of time to be learned and implemented. Repetition is the First Law of Learning.

The Benefits.
"An Investment in Knowledge pays the best interest."
